Accessibility Guide

Introduction

Squirrel  View  Cottage is located in the Norfolk village of Buckenham and offers 1 Double/ family room and 1 Twin room both have their own en-suite.

The Bedrooms are located in an annex to the main house which was purpose built in 2009. Whilst we aim to meet the needs of all our guests there are some features of the building which might make it difficult for people confined to a wheelchair, however the stairs are wide with a handrail on both sides.

We overlook the Yare Valley and offer superb views across the fields opposite, to the adjoining county of Suffolk. With the River Yare meandering through the valley this attracts a large variety of wildlife. Deers can be seen in the field across the road and Marsh Harriers working the same fields in search of food. Also looking for food the Barn Owl glides silently up the Bridle way opposite. Whilst at the night Tawny owls are heard in the garden and woods behind us. With Strumpshaw Steam Museum only a 5 min. walk and Strumpshaw RSPB reserve 10 mins. There is plenty to do without taking the car out of the drive.

We look forward to give you a warm welcome. If you have any queries or require assistance please phone 01603 714970 or    e-mail to  pak.svc@tiscali.co.uk
